Stereolithography

Stereolithography (SLA) is an additive manufacturing process, where parts are created using an ultraviolet laser to cure a vat of liquid photopolymer resin. The resin is cured layer-by-layer by the laser as per the 3D CAD model.

Selective Laser Sintering

Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) is an additive manufacturing process, where a laser selectively sinters the particles of a polymer powder, fuses them together and builds the part layer-by-layer.

Fused Deposition Mod...

Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) is an additive manufacturing process, in which an object is built by selectively depositing melted material in a layer-by-layer fashion based on the 3D model. The materials used are thermoplastic polymers and come in the form of filaments.

Direct Metal Laser...

Based on the innovative DMLS (Direct Metal Laser Sintering) system by EOS. It is the perfect solution for direct, cost-efficient manufacturing of high-quality metal tool inserts, prototypes and end products. This method allows you to create products with extremely complex geometries.

HP Multi Jet Fusion

Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS) is an additive manufacturing process that uses a laser to scan and selectively fuse (or melt) the metal powder particles, bonding them together and building a part layer-by-layer. Using this method, ProtoZone can build parts with extremely complex geometries that include deep slots, free-form surfaces and coolant ducts.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does your company sign Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) or confidentiality agreement with customers?

Yes, we do sign NDAs with our customers and strictly abide by the terms and conditions in the agreement.

How long do you take to send quotes?

We typically send quotes within 24 hours but depending on complexity of the project, it could take no more than 2-3 days.

Where is your manufacturing facility?

All our manufacturing is done in Mumbai, India. Having our manufacturing in India provides us with a cost advantage compared to our competitors. Our costs are lower than Chinese manufacturers, and also better quality due to the availability of well-skilled low cost labor.

Do you manufacture in small quantities? What is your minimum order quantity?

We can make parts in smaller quantities and minimum order quantity depends on the manufacturing process, materials, finishes, etc. We have even done projects, where customers needed just a couple parts.

How long is your quote valid for?

All our quotes are valid for 30 days from the day of the quote. Having said that our prices don't change a whole lot even after that period. But the quote needs review after 30 days.

How is your pricing compared to other American or Chinese prototyping companies?

ProtoZone is EXTREMELY competitive in pricing and lead times because 100% of our manufacturing is in a low cost country such as India.

What file formats does ProtZone accept?

We accept STEP, IGES, and STL formats. We can also work with 2D prints on a case-by-case basis.

Which countries do you ship to?

We ship all over the world. We use carriers based on customer requirements.
